The SkinPen is a medical micro-needling system. It is also approved for the safe and effective treatment of acne scars. How does medical micro-needling work?
With medical micro-needling, tiny sterile needles vibrate into the skin to create tiny micro-channels. What does a treatment entail?
We start by cleansing the skin. Then, a thin layer of Skinfuse Lift HG is applied to protect the skin from chafing and rubbing during the treatment. During the treatment, you will feel a vibrating sensation on your skin. Depending on how deeply we work, you may experience a slight soreness or tingling sensation. The treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes.

5 minutes after treatment: Immediately after the SkinPen treatment, your skin may appear slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn. This is normal and is caused by the skin stimulation.
15 hours after treatment: After 15 hours, the redness will have significantly reduced. Your skin may feel a little tighter and may exhibit slight flaking as the natural recovery process begins.
48 hours after treatment: After 48 hours, the redness may have almost completely disappeared. Your skin may still feel a little tight and dry, but you can already start to see the first signs of a more radiant and smoother complexion. Does the treatment have any downtime?
Depending on the treated area and the intensity of the treatment, the skin will appear slightly redder and feel warm/tingly. This sensation will subside after a few hours. The recovery period depends on the intensity of the treatment. After the treatment, you will receive two aftercare products to promote healing. These products are included in the price. The skin therapist will explain how to use them.
After a few days, the skin may exhibit slight flaking due to the shedding of dead skin cells. Initially, the new skin may be slightly lighter in color compared to the untreated skin. This color will lighten over time.
Different treatment depths for different problems!
Shallow depth (approximately 0.5 mm) microneedling treats fine lines, pores, texture, and minor scars, penetrating solutions and improving crepey skin.
Medium depth (approximately 1.0 mm) treats fine lines, scars, and mild stretch marks, allowing for deeper solution penetration.
Deeper depth (approximately 1.5 mm to 3.0 mm) treats deeper acne scars, surgical and traumatic scars, stretch marks, deeper wrinkles, pores, and texture, and allows for the deepest solution penetration.
How many treatments are needed?
For optimal results, 3 to 6 treatments are required with an interval of 4 weeks.
When will I see results?
