What it BioRePeel?
BioRePeel is an innovative peel / skin booster treatment, using patented 2-phase technology. This process decreases damage from UV light, pigmentation and acne scars and effectively preventing the ageing of skin. The treatment is suitable for all skin types, including those with fine line wrinkles, acne, fresh scarring and blackheads.

BioRePeel is an innovative, two-phase peel with a bio-stimulating, revitalising and peeling action. Thanks to its exfoliation action; it promotes cell turnover and profound stimulation to counter the effects of skin ageing and acne scarring.
For optimal results, we recommend a course of six sessions, spaced two weeks apart.
Contraindications where BioRePeel cannot be performed
BioRePeel is suitable for all skin types, but should not be used under the following circumstances:
- During pregnancy or if breastfeeding
- If you have an aspirin allergy
- If you have dermatitis
- If you have an autoimmune disease
- Diabetes
- Previous or current skin cancer
- Taking Roaccutane or retinoids
How to prepare your skin?
With this new peel, it is not necessary to “Get your Skin Ready” although, better results and less downtime are seen on a client who has a good thorough, consistent skin care routine, and already uses AHA’s or Retinol. However, this needs to be stopped 7 days prior and 7 days post peel.
But, to maximise the benefits of the treatments and avoid unwanted irritation and side effects, follow the pre-treatment advice below to prepare your skin beforehand.
The chemical peel provides a deep exfoliation. it is therefore important to avoid exfoliating for at least 1 week prior to your appointment. Watch out for ingredients in your daily skin care products that may have an exfoliating effect before your appointment.
Try to avoid the sun/sunbeds prior to your appointment to avoid any damage to the skin. Following the treatment, make sure to wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunblock (at least SPF 30).
Ensure your skin is well-hydrated on the day of your chemical peel by drinking approximately 8 glasses of water a day. Likewise, make sure you stop using any products that dry out your skin a few days prior to your appointment.
After Care
The following aftercare advice is essential to help reduce the risk of treatment complications, to improve your comfort/healing and to help achieve the best possible results from treatment.
- The treated area of skin may feel slightly tender and appear red and swollen afterwards. You may occasionally experience skin peeling and appearances may be like mild sunburn. These effects will resolve naturally and should be much improved after 48 hours but may take longer to settle. You may experience some minor bruising which may take 1-2 weeks to resolve in some cases.
- Avoid any perfumes, fake tan, or other harsh chemicals for 72 hours after treatment.
- Avoid any makeup for 24 hours after treatment as this can increase the risk of infection.
- Avoid rubbing or picking the treated area.
- Avoid any skin exfoliation for 72 hours following treatment.
- It is important to use a regular moisturising cream around two to three times a day on the treated area. Use more regularly if you feel the skin dry or peeling.
- Avoid any products that contain alpha hydroxy acids, retinol, and glycolic acid for at least 7 days after treatment.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, sunbeds, and exposure to heat for 72 hours after treatment. These can cause sweating which can irritate the delicate skin and slow down your ability to heal quickly.
- Avoid swimming for 72 hours after treatment.
- Avoid any excess alcohol or caffeine for 48 hours after treatment.
- Wear SPF 50 or greater sunscreen for at least 2 weeks following treatment as your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight afterwards.
- Avoid any further cosmetic treatments e.g., Botox or dermal filler for 2 weeks following treatment, or ask your practitioner for advice.
- Avoid any hair removal treatments such as waxing for 2 weeks after treatment or until the initial redness and swelling has resolved.
- You must contact us if you experience any signs or symptoms of infection after treatment. Infection can present as hot, red shiny skin, there may be pus formation and you may have a fever or feel generally unwell.
- You must contact us as soon as possible if you notice any other unwanted side effects.

How long do the results last?
You’ll see instant results! Your skin will glow and you’ll see a tightness of pores and plumper skin. BioRePeel is also used for longer term effects – treating active skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation and aging skin.
How long does the BioRePeel procedure take? Does it hurt?
A single BioRePeel treatment is quick and effective taking approximately 15 minutes and can be combined with other treatments in a salon visit. It’s pain and needle free.
Will I peel?
BioRePeel has minimal down time peel – meaning no excessive peeling will occur after treatment unlike other TCA peels. However some people may experience a slight mild peeling of some areas due to an accumulation of dead skin that has been removed and stimulated, this is totally normal.
Is it safe?
BioRePeel is completely safe and safe for use over all skin types, tones and ages. What’s more BioRePeel is safe for use all year round – with use of SPF 50 recommended.
