Self Tan- The Tips & Products to Take Your Tan to the Next Level
If you would like to avoid mouldy biscuit stench to a zebra finish of your self tan make sure that you:
1. scrub your body before tanning
2. apply the moisturiser before applying the self tan on your elbows, knees and ankles or any other dry patches.
We recommend you to try:
Aromatherapy Associates Natural Exfoliating Scrub– coffee, macadamia oil, sea salt are just some of the ingredients. Apply it dry skin and massage it in well.
Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Body Cream– Rose, Evening Primrose Oil and Shea Butter help to uplift and soften the skin. Recommended for the driest of skins and can also aid with diminishing the appearance of stretch marks. Suitable for pregnant and breast feeding women.
The tanning agent DHA (dihydroxyacetone) is now often derived from natural sources such as plants. It means that is suitable for very sensitive skins as well. Our favourite product to use in ASPA and at home is Jane Iredale Self Tanner & Bronzer Tantasia.
